Build a bridge using popsicle sticks and white glue which will support the highest weight! Decorate your bridge to be voted the Best Dressed Bridge by attendees!
Construction Rules:
- Bridges must adhere to code of conduct
- Bridge Structure must be constructed with a maximum of 100 popsicle sticks and white glue (Provided by MAGStock)
- Popsicle Sticks may have a maximum of half of their length glued to other sticks
- Minimum length: 18”
- Maximum Length: 21”
- Minimum Width: 4”
- Maximum Width: 6”
- Minimum Deck Width: 4.5”
- Maximum Height: 10”
- Markers or Colored Pencils may be used to decorate the bridge. Paint is NOT allowed.
- Decorations may be attached to the bridge using white glue. Decorations may ONLY be attached to a SINGLE popsicle stick.
- Example – A flag made with a toothpick may be attached to the center of one stick. It may NOT be attached across multiple sticks.
- Example – A plastic cow may have any number of legs glued to a single stick. The cow can NOT have different legs attached to adjoining sticks.
- Bridges must be submitted for the contest at the Craft Barn by 4:00 PM Friday
- Get started early! Glue takes time to cure!

Performance
- Bridges will be loaded with weight until they fail! Bridges will be judged by the ratio of Bridge Weight to Weight Held.
- Bridge Weight / Total Weight before failure = Ratio
Best Dressed
- Attendees vote for the best looking bridge! Design and decorations count!
