Public Safety Department
Lifeguard

  • Expectations:
    • Actively guard the pool during hours where coverage is scheduled
    • Enforce the rules of the pool
    • Be prepared to make rescues if needed
  • Certifications: must have current/up-to-date American Red Cross or Ellis certification for lifeguarding.

Music/Mainstage Department

Help us run concerts! MAGStock has multiple stages that run the duration of the event, and we need people who are willing to help us put on awesome shows, be that rock bands in the pavilion or DJs at the pool!

Some level of comfort with A/V is preferred, but skills are mostly teachable! MAGStock is a great place to start learning if you’re interested in getting involved in the live music scene!

Preferred skills for all below positions:

  • Comfort with learning on the fly
  • General knowledge of cables, connectors, and the signal chain

A1 (Lead A/V Technician)

  • Mixing main concerts
  • Manage band changeovers with stage crew and the stage manager
  • Manage show times with the stage managers to minimize schedule delays

A2 (Assistant A/V Technician)

  • Assist A1 with mixing and changeovers
  • Coordinate with bands and stage manager to pre-plan changeovers and any unique technical needs

V1 (Video Wall Technician)

  • Run MAGStock-provided or band-provided video content on the video wall on the back stage
  • Coordinate with lead video technician on any specific requirements for acts

L1 (Lighting Technician)

  • Run DMX-controlled lights during main stage concerts
  • Coordinate with lead lighting technician on any specific requirements for acts
