Friday Night 9pm-11pm
Sign-ups are required – cutoff is 8pm Friday.
- The sign-up sheet will be located outside the Canteen on the official activities board. (Not the community board!)
- Your campsite should have a name, like “Space Camp” or “Goblin Towne”, though it can be as simple as “Jo’s camp”.
- Your camp theme is the overall vibe of your campsite. It should be coherent throughout your campsite, but DOES NOT need to match the theme of Stock itself!
- Each camp should designate a Camp Host who is in charge of giving the judges a tour and accepting the prize.
- Submission must include location information, such as your cabin number/letter or your coordinates as estimated from the map. Groups with multiple tents should include their whole ‘town’ in the location info.
- You do not need to have your decorations completed before signing up to participate.
Judges will be walking around from 9pm to 11pm.
- Camp Host should be at the campsite and available the whole 2hrs to show the judges around the campsite.
- The winners will have their awards brought around to their campsites that night (no later than midnight) or the next morning, time depending.
- The specific route will be determined by location of participants.
Entries will be judged on the following criteria:
- Creativity and originality
- Adherence to vibe
- Use of materials or items
- Attention to detail
- Inviting atmosphere
Bonus points will be given to campsites that have an activity and/or treat that matches their campsite theme/vibes.
- Please put out signage to let other campers know you are handing out treats. Consider including what kind of treat you are handing out.
- Please make sure all consumables are either in their original packaging or have the ingredients readily available.
- Non-consumable treats like trinkets and toys are also encouraged.
- Remember: This is an all ages event, so plan to have MAGScouts (minors) come to your door.
